Mission's Flame

This is a boarding airline ticket from a missionary trip taken with my church to the country of Paraguay in 2004. I will never forget that route from Sao Paoulo, Brazil to Asuncion, Paraguay as it is shown. As I was looking for my numbered seat and realizing at the same time that I was being assigned to sit in the middle of the row, I started looking towards the back of the plane to see if I could find any more available seats. After asking for permission, I went ahead and found my place. There was a lady sitting right behind of my seat. As the plane took off and being at about 49,0000 feet above sea level almost approaching our destination, I had the curiosity to ask the lady if she had ever been to the Iguazu waterfalls. As she replied back to me, we started a conversation in which I told her about my purpose of going to Paraguay as a first time missionary. I shared with her part of my testimony and what Jesus has meant in my life. She told me how she was once invited by a couple of friends to an event with Franklin Graham. As we kept talking and to my amazement, I could see how attentive she was to what I was saying, it was like the Lord was speaking directly to her heart. I also asked her if she wanted to receive Jesus as her personal Lord and saviour and calmly said yes. She said the prayer, I prayed for her and what was most interesting about it, was that there were no interruptions at all at any moment. I could see the happiness on her face. I was just overflowing with joy from inside. I just could not believe that the Lord had allowed me this unexpected opportunity to serve Him not having even arrived yet at the city of my destination. I gave her a couple of literatures for her to read and said our goodbyes. Once at the airport I shared the news with my pastor and reflected back on that wonderful scenario. I said "Lord this must have been your divine plan for her life because this would not have happened if I would have had a seat next to a window or if the flight would have been full. I do not remember her name and do not know what is it about her life now, but once thing I know, is that if she is serving the Lord which I hope she is, someday we will see each other in heaven. Thank You Lord for allowing me humbly to be used by you.
