As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are called to minister to the needs of others. Our response to His call to action is motivated by love--for our Saviour and for our fellow human beings. The apostle Paul encoraged believers to demonstrate genuine love in tangible ways;
"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth"(1 John 3:18)
